As an author, I love it when someone buys one of my books, but I love it even more when they leave a review and share what they thought about it.

When I don’t feel like continuing—or when I feel like throwing in the towel—a thoughtful review or kind word from someone who has read one of my books can give me the inspiration I need to keep moving forward.

Unfortunately, we often forget how important encouragement can be. If we have a bad experience at a restaurant or purchase something we dislike, we spread the word as if it were the gospel. But when we enjoy something, we sometimes assume our opinion doesn’t matter.
