Death is Coming
I'm so excited for the release of my new short story in The Books of the Fallen series Fallen: Death! We all know the story of Cain and Abel but I can assure you, you've never seen it like this!
The Bible tells us that Adam knew Eve and they had two sons Cain and Abel. It is often believed that they were the first two children to be born in the world but you also read later that Adam and Eve had sons and daughters and that Cain had a wife when he was banished.
Most likely it is true that Cain and Abel were the firstborn but after writing Eden all I had to work with were Adam, Eve, and the Devil, I wanted a world with more characters. So, in this telling rather than being the first children they are of the first seed which means they are directly from Adam and Eve whereas others are grandchildren or great-grandchildren which is the second and third seed.
The story took an interesting turn for me as a writer when I asked the question. “How does this work into the Fallen story?” What was Satan doing during this time? Where were the fallen angels during this time?
I believe I've come up with a unique view on this and as always this is a fictional telling.
